Sir William Russell Flint, A Master Of Watercolour. Flint, regarded as one of the premier watercolour artists in the world was born to Scottish parents in the year 1880. Flint lived from 1880 to 1970 and was active in preparation of his autobiography when he passed away just short of his 90th birthday. That autobiography, titled In Pursuit, has had one edition of 1050 copies, with Ralph Lewis publishing two biographies of Russell Flint based on the information therein.
